St. Thomas Aquinas won the last time they faced Schoolhouse Prep and things went their way on Friday too. The St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders breezed by the Schoolhouse Prep Wolfpack to the tune of 74-41. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Thomas Aquinas to victory, but perhaps none more so than London Thomas, who posted 21 points and six boards. Nyla Mcfadden was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds.

St. Thomas Aquinas smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in nine consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Schoolhouse Prep saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lya Gonzalez went 10 for 25 en route to 27 points and three steals. Gonzalez is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last 12 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kartier Durden, who scored nine points.

St. Thomas Aquinas has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Schoolhouse Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

St. Thomas Aquinas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-47 loss against Winter Haven on the 18th. As for Schoolhouse Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 69-45 win against Keys Gate on the 18th.
