Basketball Recap: Hancock Comes Up Short

Hancock suffered their closest defeat since February 15, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the MACCRAY Wolverines by a score of 62-59. The Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 21-4. As for MACCRAY, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Looking ahead, Hancock will face off against West Central Area at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. MACCRAY does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
