Cuba/Spoon River Valley won the last time they faced Peoria Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Chargers.

Cuba/Spoon River Valley easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19.

Grace Yaste paced Cuba/Spoon River Valley's offense, picking up 11 kills. Yaste got some help from Kacie White and her 12 assists. Renee Brenner controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cuba/Spoon River Valley has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. As for Peoria Christian, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 18-16.
