Basketball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

If Sidney was riding high fresh off their 51-13 takedown of Troy last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sidney Yellowjackets fell to the Tippecanoe Red Devils 61-55. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-28 back in January.

Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Tippecanoe, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Sidney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tippecanoe, they will take on Franklin in a tournament on Friday.
