The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs will take on the Calvary Christian Academy Lions in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flagler Palm Coast will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Last Thursday, Flagler Palm Coast was able to grind out a solid victory over Oviedo, taking the game 45-38. The 45-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Flagler Palm Coast's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexandra Perez, who posted 17 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Perez is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kierra Clark, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.
Meanwhile, Calvary Christian Academy's game on Thursday was all tied up 32-32 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of DeLand. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Flagler Palm Coast will have to contain Samantha Lecas as she made an impact in Calvary Christian Academy's last game. She went 9 of 21 on her way to 28 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Lenz, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 14 points and three steals.
Even though they lost, Calvary Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive contests.
Flagler Palm Coast pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Flagler Palm Coast has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 31.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Calvary Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
