Softball Game Preview: Dillon Wildcats vs. Wilson Tigers

The Dillon Wildcats will face off against the Wilson Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Dillon will be strutting in after a win while Wilson will be coming in after a loss.

Dillon is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Spring Valley 19-2 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

South Florence hit Wilson with a 12-run third inning last Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers lost 17-1 to the Bruins. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zoey Miller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

Dillon's win bumped their record up to 7-13-1. As for Wilson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
