Softball Game Preview: Harrold Hornets vs. Munday Moguls

Harrold has gone a perfect 3-0 against Munday recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hornets will venture away from home to face off against the Moguls at 5:00 p.m. Harrold has given up an average of 15.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Harrold managed to slip by Knox City the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hornets lost 11-1 to the Greyhounds on Friday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harrold saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mylie Maness, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Maness launched this season.

Meanwhile, Munday entered their tilt with Northside on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 17-13 win over the Indians.

Harrold's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Munday, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-7.

Everything went Harrold's way against Munday in their previous meeting back in March, as Harrold made off with a 13-3 win. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Moguls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
