Soccer Game Preview: Cheyenne Mountain vs. Lewis-Palmer + Official Tickets

The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks will venture away from home to square off against the Lewis-Palmer Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cheyenne Mountain is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

While Cheyenne Mountain's win against Lutheran wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red-Tailed Hawks' defense stepped up to hand the Lions a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Cheyenne Mountain were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lewis-Palmer). They put the hurt on Air Academy with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Cheyenne Mountain's record is now 6-4-2. As for Lewis-Palmer, their record now sits at 4-8-1.
