Shamrocks overcome a half-time deficit to capture victory.

For the second consecutive week,
Trinity (Louisville, Ky.) overcame an early deficit to come away with a victory, downing
Montgomery Bell Academy (Nashville, Tenn.) 27-23.
The Shamrocks trailed 13-10 at half-time and did not regain a lead until lead in the third quarter.

Dalyn Dawkins tied the game at 23-23. A successful extra point gave Trinity a 24-23 lead.
That proved to be all that Trinity would need. It added a a 25-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter to extend its lead to 27-23.
It was the
second game in a row that Trinity needed a second half comeback. It trailed 23-17 before rattling off 35 unanswered points to blowout Brentwood Academy (Nashville, Tenn.)
Trinity will continue with its brutal schedule next week when it hosts Elder (Cincinnati, Ohio).
