Baseball Recap: St. Louis Homeschool P Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

While St. Louis HomeSchool P's victory against Priory wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Ravens 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-4 back in March.

Samuel Hart spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because St. Louis HomeSchool P is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 13-16 otherwise.

At the plate, St. Louis HomeSchool P saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Schark, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Priory, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

St. Louis HomeSchool P didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against Chester on the 14th. As for Priory, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-1 defeat against Burroughs on the 13th.
