Baseball Recap: Zion Chapel Comes Up Short

Zion Chapel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the Headland Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 two weeks ago.

Zion Chapel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Headland, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Zion Chapel will be playing at home against Geneva County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Headland, they will face off against Rehobeth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Headland: 2.6, Rehobeth: 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
