Baseball Recap: Heppner/Ione Takes a Loss

Heppner/Ione was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Kennedy Trojans, falling 18-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered since March 25, 2025.

Heppner/Ione's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kennedy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heppner/Ione will challenge Grant Union at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kennedy, they will be playing at home against Umpqua Valley Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
