Volleyball Game Preview: Arroyo Knights vs. Marshall Eagles

The Arroyo Knights will face off against the Marshall Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Arroyo sitting on three straight wins and Marshall on ten.

Arroyo will bounce into Friday's contest after beating South El Monte, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Knights won by a set and slipped past the Eagles 3-2.

Arroyo was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 17-25, 18-25, 25-18, 17-15.

Meanwhile, Marshall made easy work of Mountain View on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14, 25-17.

Arroyo's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Marshall, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
