It was a Battle of the Birds when Franklin Christian Academy challenged Zion Christian Academy on Friday. The Falcons' defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 4-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for Franklin Christian Academy: when they faced off against Zion Christian Academy last Thursday, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Franklin Christian Academy hit Zion Christian Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Wadson Chapin (2), Sam Grimenstein, and Preston Bosquet.

The win made it two in a row for Franklin Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 10-6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Zion Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2-2.
