Basketball Recap: Necedah Comes Up Short

Necedah lost against Cashton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Necedah Cardinals fell to the Cashton Eagles 45-40. The Cardinals' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Necedah's record is now 0-3. As for Cashton, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-4 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Necedah will host Ithaca at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cashton, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Cashton Eagles take on the Brookwood Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
