The Springville Red Devils and the Spanish Fork Dons, after both having extra time off, will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Springville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Salem Hills, who was ranked 21st at the time (Springville was ranked 17th). The Red Devils came out on top against the Skyhawks by a score of 3-1 last Thursday. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Skyhawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Springville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-17, 25-22, 25-19.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Springville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Quinn Laurie, who had five digs and one block. Laurie is also crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 14 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Taylor Cook, who had 14 digs and two assists.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Spanish Fork, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past Payson 3-0 last Thursday.
Spanish Fork's got stronger as the match went on, holding Payson to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-11.
Spanish Fork's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Springville, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
Springville was able to grind out a solid victory over Spanish Fork in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, winning 3-1. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
