Softball Recap: Bremen Wins Going Away Against Triton

Bremen's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Triton Trojans as they made off with a 12-0 win. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

Delainey Neher was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two doubles. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Isabella Calentine was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run.

Bremen always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Triton only posted an OBP of .118.

Bremen's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Triton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-14.

Looking ahead, Bremen will venture away from home to face off against Knox at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions are facing the Redskins at the right time seeing as the Redskins are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Triton, they will welcome Mishawaka Marian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
