Football Recap: Shattuck Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Shattuck unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 40-6 defeat at the hands of the Laverne Tigers on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shattuck will venture away from home to face off against Beaver at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Laverne, they will challenge Seiling at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
