Softball Recap: Sotomayor Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hawkins last Friday, Sotomayor came back down to earth. Sotomayor lost 28-20 to the Jefferson Democrats on Monday. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Democrats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Sotomayor now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Jefferson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Sotomayor will square off against Maywood CES at 2:00 p.m. on April 2. As for Jefferson, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Santee at 4:30 p.m. Jefferson is facing Santee at the right time seeing as Santee is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
