Volleyball Recap: Addison Foote and Rayla Hufford Secure Win for Mound City

Mound City won the last time they faced South Holt and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Knights by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-11, 23-25, 25-7.

Leading Mound City to victory were Rayla Hufford and Addison Foote. Hufford had 12 digs, while Foote had three digs and two aces. That's the most aces Foote has posted over her last six matchups.

They weren't the only good servers: Mound City was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Holt only served five.

Mound City's win bumped their record up to 20-7-1. As for South Holt, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-16-3.

Looking ahead, Mound City will be playing in front of their home fans against Rock Port at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Holt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
