Basketball Recap: Crane's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crane). They walked away with a 46-35 victory over the All Saints Episcopal School Patriots on Thursday. The Cranes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hannah Owen, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds gave Owen a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Brashear, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Crane moved to 2-6 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. As for All Saints Episcopal School, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Crane didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-28 defeat against Forsan on the 7th. As for All Saints Episcopal School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 50-32 loss against O'Donnell on the 7th.
