Basketball Recap: Lake Mills Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Lake Mills L-Cats lost to the Turner Trojans at home by a 54-40 margin. While losing is never fun, the L-Cats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while the Trojans are ranked 136th).

This is the second loss in a row for Lake Mills and nudges their season record down to 3-15. As for Turner, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Mills will head out to face off against Lake Country Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lake Country Lutheran's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games. Turner has already played their next contest (against Whitewater), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
