Sumner and Puyallup are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Spartans will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Sumner is headed out to face Puyallup after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Spartans blew past Rogers 58-36 on Wednesday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Puyallup against South Kitsap on Wednesday as the squad secured an 86-22 win.

Sumner came up short against Puyallup in their previous matchup back in January, falling 66-60. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
