Basketball Recap: Rangeview Comes Up Short

Rangeview lost against Northfield back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rangeview Raiders fell to the Northfield Nighthawks 60-55. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aliyah Herron was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double with 22 points and nine steals for Northfield. That's the most steals Herron has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Bethel, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 15 points and five steals.

Rangeview's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Northfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Rangeview has already played their next matchup (against Vista PEAK Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Northfield, they will take on Denver East in a tournament on Saturday.
