Basketball Recap: Kenosha Christian Life Eagles vs. Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves
Kenosha Christian Life lost against Living Word Lutheran back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Kenosha Christian Life Eagles were dealt a 57-13 loss at the hands of the Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while the Timberwolves are ranked 196th).
Living Word Lutheran was led to victory by Kaleah Alles and Delaney Winkelmann. Alles dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards, while Winkelmann went 8-for-17 en route to 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. The matchup was Alles' sixth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenna Bynum, who posted three points and nine steals.
Kenosha Christian Life's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Living Word Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
