The Watsonville Wildcatz will head out to face off against the Silver Creek Raiders at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Silver Creek will be up against a hot Watsonville squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Wildcatz put the hurt on Pajaro Valley with a sharp 13-2 win on Friday.

Gabriel Lara was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rudy Valdez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Watsonville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in five consecutive matches.
While Silver Creek didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They never let San Jose get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Robert 'Bobby' Resendez made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Resendez was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Silver Creek got a massive performance out of Nate Spellman, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Spellman also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Giovanni Mejia was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Silver Creek pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Watsonville, their record is now 4-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Watsonville has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Silver Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
