Basketball Recap: Alchesay Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Alchesay posted their biggest victory since December 27, 2024 on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Winslow Bulldogs with a sharp 58-38 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Alchesay's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kamare Classay, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds. De'Erin Palmer also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Alchesay smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.

Despite the loss, Winslow had strong showings from Kaitlyn Belone, who had 14 points, and Taylin Puhuhefvaya, who earned 13 points and six boards.

Alchesay's record is now 12-17. As for Winslow, they dropped their record down to 5-18 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Alchesay nor Winslow have any future games scheduled.
