Softball Game Preview: Kahuku Red Raiders vs. Farrington Governors

The Kahuku Red Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Farrington Governors at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Kahuku will be strutting in after a win while Farrington will be coming in after a defeat.

On Wednesday, Kahuku earned a 6-2 victory over Kalaheo. The win continues a trend for the Red Raiders in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Farrington came up short against Pearl City on Thursday, falling 38-1. The contest marked the Governors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kahuku now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Farrington, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Kahuku's way against Farrington when the teams last played back in April of 2022, as Kahuku made off with a 30-18 victory. Will the Red Raiders repeat their success, or do the Governors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
