Basketball Recap: Lititz Christian Comes Up Short

Lititz Christian lost against Mount Calvary Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lititz Christian Eagles fell 59-47 to the Mount Calvary Christian Chargers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Lititz Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jack Kriebel dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 rebounds. That's the most boards Kriebel has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Titter, who posted six points and six rebounds.

Lititz Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Mount Calvary Christian, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-8.

Lititz Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Meadowbrook Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mount Calvary Christian, they will face off against Dayspring Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Dayspring Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.8 points per game this season.
