Battle Ground Academy entered their tilt with Providence Christian Academy on Monday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They secured a 76-71 W over the Providence Christian Academy LIONS. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Wildcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the LIONS are ranked fifth).

Battle Ground Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Providence Christian Academy, they moved to 16-2 with that defeat, which also ended their 15-game winning streak.
