Baseball Recap: St. Elizabeth Beats Pembroke Hill for Their Fourth Straight Win

St. Elizabeth waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with an 11-7 win over the Pembroke Hill Raiders.

St. Elizabeth let Sam Luetkemeyer and Gavin Williams run wild. Luetkemeyer got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Williams went 3-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Those two runs gave Luetkemeyer a new career-high. Noah Chipman was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run.

St. Elizabeth was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

St. Elizabeth's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Pembroke Hill, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-4-1.

St. Elizabeth has already played their next contest, an 8-7 win against Father Tolton on the 3rd. As for Pembroke Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-7 victory against Osage on the 3rd.
