While Hughson's win against Sonora wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Wildcats 7-6. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Hughson's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Adisyn Powers.

Hughson's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-7. As for Sonora, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.
