Baseball Game Preview: Bergen Charter vs. Wallington Panthers

Bergen Charter hasn't had much luck against Wallington recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Bergen Charter will take on Wallington at 4:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bergen Charter came up short against Hopatcong on Monday, falling 9-3.

Waldwick hit Wallington with a eight-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers lost 14-2 to the Warriors. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wallington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Kassteen, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Adrian Maciag also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Bergen Charter's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Wallington, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
