Soccer Recap: Carver Takes a Loss

Carver was the 4-1 winner over East Bridgewater when they last played one another back in October of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders lost 4-0 to the Vikings on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Carver can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 246th, while East Bridgewater are ranked 50th).

This is the second loss in a row for Carver and nudges their season record down to 1-7. As for East Bridgewater, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1-3.

Coming up, Carver is taking a road trip to challenge Hull at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Bridgewater, they have already played their next match, a 4-0 win against Archbishop Williams on the 10th.
