Burroughs not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Oak Hills Bulldogs. The Burros haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Burroughs walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12, 25-19.

Mekenzee Walke paced Burroughs' offense, picking up ten kills. Walke got some help from Alexa Santiago and her 25 assists. Santiago and Walke didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Burroughs' victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Oak Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Burroughs will face off against Apple Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Oak Hills, they will take on Port of Los Angeles at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
