Volleyball Recap: Coastal Christian Homeschool Wins Going Away Against Benavides

The Coastal Christian HomeSchool Badgers made easy work of the Benavides Eagles on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Coastal Christian HomeSchool took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-13.

Coastal Christian HomeSchool has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Benavides, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coastal Christian HomeSchool will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against WINGS Homeschool Athletics at 7:00 p.m. on October 6. As for Benavides, they will head out on the road to challenge McMullen County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
