West Jessamine came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado, falling 10-3. The Colts' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

West Jessamine saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Hobgood, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

West Jessamine's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Paducah Tilghman, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-5.

Coming up, West Jessamine will venture away from home to take on Greenwood at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Paducah Tilghman, they will welcome Gallatin County at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.27 runs per game on average), something the Blue Tornado will no doubt try to take advantage of.
