Wade Hampton is 9-1 against James F. Byrnes since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wade Hampton Generals will be playing at home against the James F. Byrnes Rebels at 7:00 p.m. Wade Hampton's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Wade Hampton fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Mauldin on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Generals have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, James F. Byrnes kept a clean sheet against Seneca on Monday. Everything went their way against the Bobcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Rebels were the better team in the second half.

Anthony Ramos Gonzalez and Jon Cummings scored all three of James F. Byrnes' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

James F. Byrnes' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1. As for Wade Hampton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Wade Hampton skirted past James F. Byrnes 3-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Wade Hampton repeat their success, or does James F. Byrnes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
