Football Recap: Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against South Loup last Friday, Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] came back down to earth. Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] was outmatched by the Ravenna Bluejays and fell 54-14. Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Brody Diefenbaugh threw for 58 yards on three of ten attempts. Chase Beitler was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards.

Ravenna got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kobe Chamberlin out in front who rushed for 157 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 34 receiving yards and one touchdown. Chamberlin is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 157 every time he's taken the field this season. Another signal caller making a difference was Trenton Wedemeyer, who threw for 165 yards and four touchdowns.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ravenna, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] and Ravenna will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] will challenge rival Dundy County-Stratton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ravenna is set to take on their familiar foe Pleasanton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
