The St. Mary's Ryken Knights will venture away from home to face off against the La Plata Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Mary's Ryken will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
St. Mary's Ryken proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 15) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Archbishop Spalding 2-0.

Myla Harding was incredible, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lacey Jones, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, La Plata made easy work of Patuxent on Friday and carried off a 21-5 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Leah Buck and Sophie Payne were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Buck tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Payne tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. At bat, Buck went 2-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles, while Payne scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5.
In other batting news, Reese Menejia was a standout: she scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Payton Buckler, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
La Plata kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.
