Four Winds took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Larimore Polar Bears 50-14. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Polar Bears: they've now won six in a row.
Four Winds' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marial Deng led the charge by picking up 185 receiving yards and three TDs, while also punching in one score on the ground. Deng really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 72 yards. Kaleb Keja was another key signal caller, throwing for 249 yards and four touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Four Winds proved: they limited Larimore to a paltry 3.5 yards per carry.
