Basketball Recap: Crespi Celts vs. Harvard-Westlake Wolverines
It was a good run, but the Crespi Celts unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a hard 72-54 fall against Harvard-Westlake. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Crespi in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now lost eight in a row.
Despite the loss, Crespi still got an impressive performance from Joe Sterling, who scored 24 points. Sterling has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last five times he's played. Isaiah Barnes was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Crespi's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Harvard-Westlake, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-3.
Crespi does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Harvard-Westlake also has no future games currently scheduled.
