Volleyball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Milford + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Milford, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They skirted past the St. Catherine of Siena Academy Athletes 2-1. The Mavericks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Athletes on Thursday, too.

Lexa Pierson paced Milford's offense, picking up 17 kills. Pierson got some help from Ryleigh Johnston and her 29 assists. Pierson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Millie Ashcroft, each putting up three.

Milford pushed their record up to 24-7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for St. Catherine of Siena Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10-1.
