On Friday, Annandale needed a bit of extra time to put away Justice. They walked away with a 28-21 win over the Wolves. The victory was some much needed relief for the Atoms as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Edison started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Mount Vernon. They were beaten by the Majors 37-9 on Friday. The Eagles were down 30-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
