Recap: Bristow Pirates vs. Berryhill Chiefs

The Bristow Pirates won the last time they faced the Berryhill Chiefs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Bristow enjoyed a cozy 67-51 win over Berryhill. Given Bristow's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Berryhill is ranked 276th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bristow to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addi Alexander, who scored 24 points along with four steals. Alexander is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last five games she's played. Abby Morgan was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds.

Bristow has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Berryhill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Bristow will be playing at home against Perkins-Tryon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Bristow focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. As for Berryhill, they will head out on the road to challenge Cleveland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Berryhill is facing Cleveland at the right time seeing as Cleveland is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
