Baseball Recap: Greene County Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Greene County hadn't done well against Saydel recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Rams walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Eagles on June 4th, they had to take a 11-0 loss.

Greene County's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Saydel, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-5.

Greene County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-1 victory against Carroll on the 27th. Saydel has also already played their next match (against Hampton-Dumont/CAL), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
