Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Worthing Colts, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a serious blow against El Campo on Friday, falling 42-14. Worthing's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
It was another big night for Ja?Kwuan Hudlin, who rushed for 274 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Stephen Norman and his 97 yards on the ground were also a key factor in El Campo's win.
Worthing's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for El Campo, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Worthing does not have any more games scheduled as of now. El Campo will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Chapel Hill at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Chapel Hill presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Campo in Texas (Chapel Hill is ranked 95th, while El Campo is ranked 315th).
