Basketball Recap: Sanford-Fritch Eagles vs. Booker Kiowas
The Sanford-Fritch Eagles were the 67-44 winner over the Booker Kiowas when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Sanford-Fritch took a 61-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kiowas on Tuesday. Sanford-Fritch's defeat continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it four in a row.
Hagen Chisum was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds for Booker. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chisum has scored all season. Jesus Jimenez was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Sanford-Fritch's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Booker, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sanford-Fritch will take on the Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Booker, they will head out on the road to square off against the Comanches at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
