Volleyball Recap: Dover's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

The Dover Pirates came up short against the Harmony Grove Cardinals on Monday and fell 2-0.

Dover may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0.

When it comes to explaining why Dover lost, don't look at Early Jackson. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and two aces. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Dover's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-10. As for Harmony Grove, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dover will head out to challenge Lamar at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harmony Grove, they will square off against Pulaski County HomeSchool at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
