Cloudcroft lost to Mescalero Apache two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Bears secured a 62-57 W over the Chiefs. The victory was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won three games in a row.

Despite the defeat, Mescalero Apache had strong showings from Landyn Hiles, who posted 17 points, and Avin Yellowcloud, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jason Wilson, who earned seven points.

Cloudcroft's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Mescalero Apache, they moved to 12-14 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Cloudcroft nor the Chiefs have any future games scheduled.
